Shusaku gave us a tour of the Shinjuku area, showing us the sights and guiding us through the bustling nightlife. We stopped at several small Izakayas for food and drinks whilst we had fun conversations about where we’re from, and about Shinjuku. We had a really fun night and got us into some really small and iconic bars which let us to meet some new people and enjoy some more drinks. Shusaku was great all-round, really friendly guy who gave us lots of time to look around and went out of his way to book us a table for some food in case it was busy, and he also makes for a great photographer and knows some good photo spots!
Akira met us at our hotel in Shibuya, from which he smoothly guided us through the subway system to our first stop which took the stress out of a typically hectic endeavour. We was knowledgeable about the religious and local history of where we visited, and took us around some lovely local places that tourists rarely get to see, let alone know exist. I couldn’t recommend him more for a first visit to Tokyo, and he does a great job of tailoring and adapting tours to your needs and wants, even on the fly. Kind, patient and overall really chill guy.
Our tour with Kazumi was fantastic! We had limited time in Hiroshima, and Kazumi was able to show us both World Heritage sites with ease. Her commentary was really interesting and tailored so that our children could understand. She was very kind and helped the kids learn a little more Japanese. We all had a great day and highly recommend this tour with Kazumi!!
