This is a two-hour guided walking tour of Hirokoji Street, one of the main streets of central Nagoya which runs straight from the Nagoya Station area to Sakae, the very heart of Nagoya. Thousands of people just walk Hirokoji Street hurriedly to go to their offices, shops or restaurants destinations everyday but actually there are lots of interesting stories and trivia, both historic and modern. You will find out the city’s history, culture and life of local people through this walk.
Nagoya Station, or at your hotel if it is in the Nagoya Station area or Sakae area
Meet at your hotel (if it is in the Nagoya Station area or Sakae area) or Nagoya Station.
※ If we meet at Nagoya Station, we will start walking from there and ends at Sakae. If we meet at your hotel in Sakae, we will start walking from Sakae and ends at Nagoya Station.
We will start the tour from the meeting point.
While waking on Hirokoji Street, I will point out some buildings, spots, monuments, shops, restaurants and shrines, etc. and tell you lots of stories. The walking distance will be about 2.5 kilometers.

At subway Sakae Station or Nagoya Station depending on where we start
You will get to know the city’s history, culture and life of local people through this walk. Nagoya will become a lot more familiar and friendly place to you after the tour!
