We visit Tateyama Murodo and Kurobe Dam lake. We walk Big Snow wall corridor during Spring time ( From Mid- April until Mid-June). We walk on mountain pathway around Mikurigaike pond in Summer and Fall. We board on trolley bus, ropeway, cable car, and arrive at Kurobeko Lake. We view spectacular water release operation during Summer and Fall.

Mt. Tateyama is one of the three sacred mountains in Japan. It is located in the central region of the Honshu Island. The mountain ranges belong to the Northern Japan Alps. There are many peaks of nearly 3,000 meters above sea level. Murodo plateau is 2,450 meters high. Down to the Kurobe gorge, Kurobe Dam was constructed. Kurobe Dam is the highest arch dam in Japan. It is 186 m tall. In this tour, we visit Murodo plateau and Kurobe Dam by using Tateyama cable car, Tateyama highland bus, Tateyama tunnel trolley bus, Tateyama ropeway and Kurobe cable car. The tour is operated during Spring, Summer and Autumn ( April 20th - October 31st ).
The tour price includes the guide fee and guide's transportation fares.
The tour price does not include transportation fares and lunch for you.. Transportation fares a person are as follows:
Kanazawa - Toyama round trip ticket 5,620 yen .
Toyama - Kurobeko round trip ticket 13,190 yen.
Lunch 1,000 yen. Sorry, please pay guide's lunch.
This tour is operated during Spring Summer and Autumn. ( April 16 - October 31 ). Notice time for an application to this tour is until one week before your desired tour date.
Transportation fares ; Round-trip ticket per person from Toyama to Kurobe-ko lake costs 13,190 Yen. Kanazawa - Toyama round trip ticket is 5,620 yen per person
JR train fares for return trip ticket between Kanazawa and Toyama a person is 3,600 yen for one day advance purchase. Private company round trip ticket between Toyama and Kurobeko a person is 13,190 yen.
Customers are requested to pay their transportation fares between Toyama and Kurobeko lake. It is 13,190 yen per person.
Murakami-san was an excellent guide. He grew up in Kanazawa so he has a wealth of information about the city's history and culture. The itinerary he arranged was customized to our interests, and he was very attentive to our needs. Unfortunately we had to end our tour a little early due to some minor health issues. He seemed disappointed, so please make sure he knows that it was not because of anything he did--we were very pleased with his services.

Takashi was a very good & thoughtful guide. He provided a brochure that was waiting for us at our hotel when we checked in confirming all details. Our tour was amazing, wonderful scenery on bus to Shirakawa-go an amazing world heritage site. Then back to Kanazawa, visited Gardens, Castle & original Samuri area. So much culture & history. Dear Mrs. Thank you for a high evaluation to my guide service. We started the tour behind schedule because of your unsuccessful booking of train seats. So, I had to cancell seats of a highway bus originally booked. Seats of all highway bus after original one were all booked by other passengers. So, we took alternative route from Shin-Takaoka to Shirakawago and Takayama. We were lucky that we were able to vist both Shirakawago and Takayama as we planned. We had a very pleasant at day with Takashi San in Shirakawago and Kanazawa. Takashi San is very knowledgeable about the areas and we were able to see a lot that day. There were so much to see and do and since we took a long time at the gold leaf embellishment experience, we ended up running out of time and not able to see the Kanazawa castle. I think squeezing both Shirakawago and Kanazawa into one day is okay if you don’t go for the gold leaf embellishment experience, otherwise splitting them into two days would be more doable and relaxing. Overall it was a very nice day and thank you again to Takashi San for his time and patience.
