Yoshi was an exceptional guide for our visit to Nagasaki. She tailored our tour for the day to what we wanted to see and informed us of some very unique sites that we were unaware of. She is relatable and brought history to life with every site that we visited, including very touching personal stories from people she knew who were survivors of the terrible bombing in 1945. The pace of her walking tour was 100% appropriate for our group and I suspect she would cater that to whomever she is showing around. She also assisted us with translation and in directing taxi cabs to the sites we visited. We could not have asked for a more comprehensive tour. 100% satisfied with the time we spent together. Yoshi impressed us with her depth of knowledge, patience and attention to what our group wanted to see and she was flexible when time constraints and weather forced a change to our original plan. An excellent guide for Nagasaki!

Kuni organized a fantastic tour for my family. He thoughtfully took us to three places, two of which were in the older parts of town and one that was in the newer “younger” part which catered to the varying ages and interests in our group. We especially enjoyed the first stop in food alley where we ate on the third floor of Kuni’s favorite yakitori spot. It was packed with locals and every bite of food was delicious. All small bites, so great for sharing along with a beer. Kuni was great company throughout the evening. He speaks English very well, making conversation seamless for us. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone new to Tokyo that is interested in exploring the nightlife through the lens of a true local.
